The Perentie was designed for the Australian military, their MOD stipulated that the car should have a 3.9 Isuzu Diesel engine 4BD1 (small truck engine) coupled to the best gearbox Land Rover have made the LT95 (heavy duty)
They also requested that the chassis was galvanized and slightly extended at the rear to accept the spare wheel underneath
The car has 26,600km on the clock and is rust free apart from the odd bit of surface rust on the doors(shown in pictures )
Car is FFR originally used for radio communication
Everything is very solid with no oil leaks , engine run's superbly well as well as the gearbox changes
